The team at Dale Carnegie Training of Ohio and Kentucky is looking for flexible and out-of-the-box business leaders to become corporate trainers. Someone who is personable, flexible, and has a commanding presence in front of groups will be an excellent fit for this position.

As a corporate trainer, you will be a mentor and coach in our company-facing programs consisting of 20 to 40 participants per class. You will conduct reviews of participants’ advancement in the program, their progress in achieving their stated outcomes, and coach them to exceed their current perceived limitations. As a trainer, you will constantly push the edge in presentation and communication techniques and methodology to keep participants engaged, the programs lively, and the material interesting.

Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting consultations with participants and sales teams to determine participants’ outcomes.

• Participating in local training events and program refreshers.

• Consult with the Area Director of Training and other trainers to exchange training ideas.

• Consult with account managers and corporate executives to tailor coaching to participants’ needs.

Qualifications:

• At least 10 years of business experience.

• Bachelor’s degree

• Customer service oriented attitude.

• Flexible scheduling to instruct programs during the day.

• Diplomatic and tactful mindset.

• Self-starter, someone who can be an initiator.

• Open minded, open to coaching and new training ideas.

• Written and oral communication skills.

• Public Speaking and facilitation skills.

• Time management and organization skills.

• Ability to navigate a computer

• Familiarity with MS office applications.

• Familiarity with Lotus Notes a plus.

• Familiarity with current web technologies and social media platforms a plus.
