Communication, Sales, and Leadership Excellence in Ohio and Kentucky.
The first step involves you sharing your corporate vision, values, strategy and goals. This enables us to gain a sense of where you want to take your organization and what is important to you.
Our solutions experts meet with the executives from your organization to clarify performance issues – what are the barriers to achieving the vision. This gives an assessment of the executives involved and the roles they will play in the solution.
Meetings with other key people are used to learn their views regarding the strengths and challenges of the business and their own individual needs and goals. Additional data collection methods will also be used, such as interviews, site tours, company data, customer focus meetings and surveys.
Research data is analyzed and discussed with a select management group. These discussions will yield a consensus, turning the data into action items and elements of a plan. A customized project map is developed for your organization that emphasizes practical applications of the action items and elements agreed upon with the management team.
The leadership team will meet with our corporate solutions specialists to determine what measurements will be employed to observe the success of the initiative. These measurements will be used in the evaluation phase to ascertain the overall success of the solution and where additional modifications might be made to achieve your organization’s goals.
Now that you have a satisfactory project map, a team is required to convert the plan into accomplishments. The Leadership Team formulates methodologies for achieving goals outlined in the project map. Using team meetings, the leaders identify their strengths and areas of expertise. Leadership skills are honed. Roles and responsibilities are identified and assigned and implementation schedules are created.
At the kick-off meeting, the leadership team and coaches present the plan to select key employees. The roles of the employees are clearly explained and defined.
Individuals from within the organization are selected to serve as coaches to their associates. These coaches will be responsible for working with co-workers in reaching corporate goals. Those selected to serve as coaches receive training in both the continuous improvement process and how to be successful coaches.
With your coaches and Dale Carnegie Training® trainers taking the lead, participants begin to develop processes, teams and continuous improvement skills all designed to satisfy the goals of the project plan. Skills develop and improve through the use of classroom training and coaching sessions between classes. Participants also receive follow-up coaching and training as necessary.
At predetermined intervals within a 45-day period, the project team meets with the leadership team to report on development within the organization and discuss how best to ensure that the initiative’s goals are met or exceeded within the given timeframe.
All participants are required to supply a follow-up report after a 45-day period has elapsed. This ensures proper supervision and monitoring of progress. The progress and outcomes of all initiatives are measured. All gains and improvements from the solution are recorded and noted, while preparations for the next phase begin.
The project leaders meet to review the current progress. They review results and consider what, if any, further steps may be necessary. If subsequent steps are deemed necessary, the team will determine a set of actions based on the corporate vision and values.
All participants involved with implementing the solution maintain workflow and precede with continuous improvement teams. These teams are facilitated by your internal coaches and mentored by the leadership team. Dale Carnegie Training® consultants continue their involvement in the training initiative by presenting briefings and coaching sessions at the appropriate meetings.
In the event that extra coaching is needed for select participants, Dale Carnegie Training® specialists are available as needed.
