Larry Prevost is a Dale Carnegie Coach and a tech consultant working with Dale Carnegie Training of OH and IN on a variety of projects involving email marketing, social media initiatives and search engine marketing. Before working with Dale Carnegie, his career included Design Engineering, Manufacturing and Test Engineering, Technical Field Support, Systems Administration and Sales Engineering. Larry has worked with a number of companies and with a variety of technologies including High Performance Computing and Enterprise Storage architectures.
In addition to Dale Carnegie, Prevost has worked with Toastmasters Intl, serving in a variety of leadership positions. He has designed and conducted a number of speaking programs for middle schools and for non-profit organizations helping individuals to speak in front of groups, organize their thinking and communicate their ideas. Larry also studied Neuro Linguistic Programming with NLP Comprehensive and received his Practitioner’s Certification in 1995.
Prevost is an avid runner. He has completed over 50 marathons nationally and internationally including the Boston Marathon, the Montreal Marathon, the Bermuda Marathon and most recently the Cleveland Marathon, Akron Marathon and Columbus Marathon. Larry has also coached several individuals helping them reach the qualifying time for the Boston Marathon.
In addition to working with Dale Carnegie Training on social media development and Search Engine Marketing, he is a guest columnist for the business portal Manta.com, writes for the Dale Carnegie Training blog Top Performance, and maintains the blog www.salesittech.com, a technical blog for sales people.
Prevost received his undergraduate degree from MIT in Electrical Engineering.
